The United Kingdom is a developed country which means a developed society. Most people in the UK identify themselves as Christian and this influences in issues such as Legalized Abortion in cases of rape, life-threatening health problems, socioeconomic factors and others.
But there are also social problems. The UK has the highest levels of addiction and multi-drug consumption and the second-highest rate of drug-related deaths in Europe. Around a quarter of 26 to 30-year-olds have tried Class A drugs, as cocaine and heroin for example, and 45 percent of young people used cannabis.

The education system in the United Kingdom is similar. There are five stages of education: early years, primary, secondary, further education and higher education. The United Kingdom has an exemplary education in the world and some famous universities, like Cambridge and Oxford Universities.

In the 18th century the UK was the first country to industrialize and during the 19th century had a dominant role in the global economy. The United Kingdom has the sixth-largest national economy in the world, measured by nominal GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and eighth-largest in the world.

GDP is all capital produced in a country in a year . The UK has one of the world's most globalized economies. The service sector dominates its economy, contributing with around 78% of GDP and the automotive industry is also a major employer and exporter.

The political system in the United Kingdom is not neat or fully democratic. The British political system is headed by a monarchy, but essentially the powers of the monarch as head of state are ceremonial. The monarch is determined on the hereditary and primogeniture principles.

The most important practical power is the choice of the Member of Parliament to form a government. The Prime Minister usually can be liken as a president in others countries. He can choose the ministers who commands the government departments.

The British Parliament is bicameral. There are two houses: The House of Commons and The House of Lords.
